The Business of Creativity for Innovation in Business

  • Do you want your employees to think more creatively more of the time?
  • Are you looking for a dynamic effective keynote speaker to inspire new thinking to work with change?
  • Would you like to know what it takes to sustain an innovation mindset and practice day-to-day?

Creativity and innovation go hand-in-hand. Our goal is to help you get a practical handle these elusive concepts, and to channel their powerful energy to drive real results.

Our approach innovation is through the doors of creativity for a number of reasons:

  • Creativity is personal - once people experience the power of their creative imagination and know how to interact with others to support new ideas and new decisions, their esteem and expectations for success are strengthened.
  • Innovation is societal - new ideas grow when there is a soft place for them to land.

CreativityLand Inc. is a Toronto-based consulting firm headed by Marci Segal, Canada's first degreed creativity specialist and co-founder of World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15 - 21.
Marci Segal, MS, received her Master of Science in Creativity and Change Leadership from the International Center for Studies in Creativity after beginning in 1977 as an undergraduate. Added to her expertise with a focus on personality and culture in relation to creativity in subsequent years. Wrote books on the subject. Co-created World Creativity and Innovation Week  in 2001 (starts on Leonardo da Vinci's birthday, April 15 until April 21 every year)  which is growing as a tradition in over 40 countries, in businesses, schools, communities worldwide.

We've discovered that approaching innovation from a people-first perspective yields long-lasting results.  Our fundamentals:
  • Creativity is personal expression of a restlessness to improve the status quo. Everyone experiences restlessness and seeks satisfaction.
  • Creativity involves new ideas, imagination and new decisions. Many tools, methods and models are used to achieve creative results aligned with the intended outcome.
  • Innovation occurs when others find worth in a new solution. Influencing for acceptance, timing, needs fulfillment, and value-inclusion priorities factor into the innovation process covertly; we address them overtly so you feel confident moving forward.

When you want to inspire new ideas, and encourage new decisions within your networks of customers, clients, employees and suppliers call on CreativityLand to facilitate the change.
